Prepare For Your Future!
The Emergency Medical Technician - 1 (EMT-1) Training Program will prepare
you to provide emergency
medical care to victims of accidents
and sudden illness. You will develop
skills in symptom recognition, emergency
care procedures and techniques considered to be within the responsibilities
of an EMT. Emergency Medical Technicians provide routine and emergency
medical care with an ambulance service or fire department, as well as

Quality Education That Makes a Difference!
Established 20 years ago as a nonprofit agency, the SFPA's mission has been to improve the delivery of emergency medical services in the Bay Area. We have been able to accomplish this goal by offering emergency medical training to the public as well as healthcare professionals. In fact, we have grown steadily over the years to become one of the largest and best known providers of emergency medical education in Northern California.
