Becoming a SFPA Member

By joining the SFPA, you will help support efforts to continually improve the level of pre-hospital care through education and community outreach.

The SFPA offers 2 types of memberships. Active Members consist of EMTs and Parmedics, and an Associate Membership for all other healthcare professionals.

ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP
 Membership benefits include voting privileges, reduced rate or FREE CE classes, a newsletter subscription, store discounts, access to a credit union, and your very own SFPA T-Shirt!

A member must comply with the following three requirements:

1) reside or work in California
2) pay dues ($50/2 yrs EMT, $65/2 yrs Paramedic), and
3) be a provider of pre-hospital care in California, a California licensed EMT paramedic, a California certified EMT-Basic, or a holder of an equivalent licensing status as established by the state of California.

To become or renew an Active Member, please download the Active Membership Application form and fax the completed application to the SFPA at 415.543.0415 or call the SFPA registration office 415-543-1161 ext 0 between 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday except holidays.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
 Although Associate Members cannot vote, they are entitled to benefits such as: reduced rate or FREE CE classes, a newsletter subscription, store discounts, access to a credit union, and your very own SFPA T-Shirt! Most importantly, you will be supporting a high quality training institute that advocates for better patient care.

To become or renew an Associate Member ($60/year), please download the Associate Membership Application form and fax the completed application to the SFPA at 415.543.0415 or call the SFPA registration office 415-543-1161 ext 0 between 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday except holidays.
