Instructions for
UCSF Staff Registration
Welcome!
If UCSF doesn't pay for your course please click on Professional Classes in the left menu. These Instructions are only for those who's department has set up a billing contract with the SFPA. If unsure ask your manager.

In order for UCSF staff to register online you need to follow these steps:
GATHER INFORMATION:
You must have the following information to register online. See
the "Primary Contact" chart.
1. Client ID
2. Employee ID
GO TO THE CORRECT REGISTRATION WINDOW:
Once you have the above information click:
Online
registration for UCSF STAFF ONLY click here
If your department doesn't pay or online doesn't work, you need to choose
the correct "UCSF registration" forms. Please fill out the entire
form and click the appropriate department for billing. When we receive your
order we'll process the request and MAIL a confirmation letter. If you do
not get a confirmation letter after 3 days please call the SFPA. You may
also call us to confirm receipt of the fax, but we cannot confirm registration
until after 3 days.

SELECT WHAT YOU WANT TO DO:
When you click the "Online Registration..." link you should see
a screen that says "Welcome Your Name" with the question
"Would you like to:"
Click Register for a Class
CHOOSE YOUR CLASS:
You will be brought to the "Classes and Events Intro"
screen
Scroll down until you see the class you want to attend. The BLS-Renewal classes held at Parnassus campus are listed under "Healthcare Provider (HCP-BLS) as "UCSF BLS-Renewal".
Click the "Register online" link
next to the class.
This will bring you to the "Class: UCSF - Basic Life Support
Renewal" screen
Scroll down until you see the class dates and times. Please read the Description, Course Requirements, etc.
Click "Enroll"
next to the session you want to attend. The column "Seats Left"
is accurate.
" Waitlist" means the class is full.
You can put your name on the waitlist by clicking that link, but please
note the chance of getting into the class is very little. Someone will have
to cancel their registration, which doesn't happen very often. If someone
does cancel we'll call everyone on the waitlist, first one to register gets
the seat. Do not show up the day of class unless you receive a confirmation
letter from the SFPA.
Once you click "Enroll" you'll be brought to the "Shopping Cart" screen. Confirm your class. Ignore the "Total". Pay special attention to the class date as this is the only place you can confirm the date. If it is wrong select "Remove" and return to the begining of this section of the instructions.
Click "Checkout"
FILL OUT CONTACT INFORMATION:
You will be brought to a screen that asks for your "Shipping
Information" and "Billing Information"
Fill out all fields that have the "*", for "Employer" type UCSF, for "Department" type your department from the "Client ID" chart. Please provide your home address as mail often gets lost or delayed when mailed to UCSF. You can skip the "Billing Information" fields.
Click "Proceed to Order Reveiw" button at the bottom of the screen.
AGREE TO THE DISCLAIMER:
You will be brought to the "Rescheduling Policy"
screen. You must agree to the policy to continue.
Click "Yes" if you agree to the policy. If you click "No" you will not be registered into a course.
SUBMIT ORDER:
You'll be brought to the "Order Review" screen
which will list the title of the course you registered for, you should have
confirmed the date of your class at the "CHOOSE YOUR CLASS"
section of this process.
Click "Submit Order"
CONFIRMATION:
You'll be brought to a screen that says "thank you for your order".
The confirmation letter will be mailed to the address you listed as the
"Shipping Address". If you do not receive your
letter in 3 days call the registration office at the SFPA. Please allow
3 days for the letter to arrive, and remember to check your mailbox before
you call.
